We are one of the region's only independent electrical contractors who funds our employees' five year New York State Approved Apprentice Program, where they learn to work safely and skillfully, while learning safe practices and earning an OSHA card and NYS Journeyman's Card. We invest in our employees to maintain the level of expertise our customers have come to expect, which also includes Generac generator training, periodic new product training with our supply houses, CPR training (re-certified for 2023!), periodic Code update courses, weekly safety meetings, and much more.

Serving the Community
Owner Paul W. Valentine, served his country as a Marine and continues to serve his community on the Town Board to this day. His commitment to service drives Valentine Electric to participate in many local causes, including the following:
- Fund & sponsor a New York State approved Apprenticeship Program
- Provide scholarships to graduating seniors at Tappan Zee High School every year for the last 20 years
- Nancy & Paul have both served as the President of the Blauvelt Lions Club
- Nancy has taught religious education for well over 20 years
- Valentine Electric performs road cleanups for "Keep Rockland Beautiful"
- We donate our men and the use of our bucket truck to work with Tappan VFW to put up and take down hundreds of American flags each year
- We donated and provided manpower to set up a generator to power the Relay for Life annual event at the Central Ave. field in Pearl River.
